Videographer, editor, & social media marketer
When I began my video production career in the United States Marine Corps I had to learn the “one man band” approach, as I was often the lone combat videographer sent out to record and produce video stories from the field. After four years in the Corps I had produced over 200 video stories for the American Forces Network, and I began to perfect an efficient approach to video shooting and production that didn’t require much of a budget but still maintained a high quality standard. I’ve since founded a production studio that applies this same philosophy to a one-stop shop: I draft scripts, produce and plan logistics, direct and shoot, edit cuts, and finish with color correction, graphics, and sound design.
As a concurrent career skillset I also transitioned to social media marketing full-time for Fathead, LLC., as their Social Media Manager. The broader audience and budget allowed me to coordinate with a multitude of brands and licenses—including major film studios, Warner Bros. Pictures and NBCUniversal, Inc.— to craft eye-catching social media updates, as well as explore the depth of analytics tracking and demographics targeting. We focused heavily on creating video content for YouTube and Facebook, as well as custom graphics and imagery for campaigns on Instagram and Tumblr.
All of my projects are shot on my RED Helium 8K Cinema Camera, capturing the client’s vision with the highest image quality available. I also own a full-featured editing suite that includes color correction and post production audio capabilities.

SHORT FILMS
Every film, no matter how big or small, is its own small business that encompasses a multitude of varying logistics and personnel working in harmony to produce a story from concept to final form. From arranging traveling and lodging expenses to making decisions on the minute details of the creative side, directing a film embodies a small business CEO as much as it resembles a symphony conductor.
Since I’ve started making films I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of artists from all disciplines of the creative spectrum to bring my team’s vision to life, and I’ve had to adapt and overcome production and budget challenges all while leading an efficient set that stays within budget. For all of this hard work my team and I have been rewarded with over 40 film festival selections worldwide, multiple awards, and for our most recent short film “The 11th Order,” a semifinalist selection for the Student Academy Awards.
social media MARKETING — #FINALLYFATHEAD CAMPAIGN
To celebrate the arrival of new Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, and Tiger Woods products my team began a multi-platform “scavenger hunt” that combined 200 real prizes hidden throughout three major cities with clues that would be posted to our Facebook and Twitter accounts. When the prize was found there were instructions on the box for winners to post their new decals using our hashtag, generating organic social content and increasing both the brand and campaign’s visibility.
I worked with the brands and licenses in collaboration with the Upper Deck marketing teams in order to approve the concept. I then wrote the copy, clues and coordinated with the street teams to hide the products throughout the day, as well as interacted with fans directly through our social channels.
